PGCC's Core Values

God's word, the Bible, calls each believer and every church to have similar values and mission. The words of Jesus challenge His followers to love God and all human kind. Thus, for example, we value our neighbourhood and our city; we value the Bible; we value God's creation and God's mission; we value our shared life in worship; we value the arts; we value the present reality of the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Having said that, there are five specific values that we feel mark our community...

Grace

Grace is God's undeserved favour. God loves and accepts people as they are, and we want to extend that same love and acceptance.

Passion

Because of God's love for us, we want to respond with abandon. We hunger for God's tangible presence and long to experience more of the love and power of Jesus Christ in our lives.

Changed Lives

The power of the Holy Spirit transforms and restores lives. We embrace this on-going process to make us more like Jesus.

Community

God designed us to be in relationship with Him and one another. We are all unique and express ourselves individually, celebrating together as a family of believers.

Authenticity

God desires us to be genuine. We want to provide a safe place for every person to be transparent and honest with God, themselves, and each other.
