1. Prayer Meeting

WellSpring Contemplative Prayer

Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

2. Parent/Infant Group

Join Public Health Nurse, Maria Stuible, each Thursday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. as she addresses various topics relevant to life with an infant at home.   These sessions are drop-in, so if you have an infant at home, or know someone with an infant, please come to the meetings.  The sessions will resume again on January 12, 2012.

3. Featured Ministry Leader

For the month of May, our Featured Ministry Leaders are the Burtchett family.  Brian and Kaycie Burtchett work for Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship at Pioneer Pacific Camp on Thetis Island.  Each summer, approximately 10,000 kids attend inter-Varsity across Canada, with over 700 coming to Pioneer Pacific.  Brian is entering his fourth year as Executive Director and Kaycie oversees recruitment of volunteers and helps run the summer program.  Please pray as they prepare for the summer.  Pray that the kids thinking about coming to camp will come to Pioneer this summer.  Also pray that the right person would apply for the head cook position.  And finally, pray for God's love to touch the kids that come to camp in a powerful way.  Check out the Pioneer Pacific website for full details about the camp.

4. University Christian Ministry

If you are a University or College Student (UCM) University Christian Ministry has a dynamic fellowship for you.  We meet every Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. on the UBC campus in Buchanan A102.  We have several small groups that meet Monday - Wednesday evenings on campus, a Tuesday afternoon Alpha and much more.  For more information check out our website at www.ubc.ucmonline.ca.
