UCM is located on the campus of the University of British Columbia and is a Christian Student Community recognized by the University AMS. We partner with PGCC and Utown as an extension of our church to minister to students on the UBC campus. We are blessed with a wonderful leadership and volunteer team of over 30 students who help staff lead 13 weekly small groups for over 100 students. Our International Alpha continues to attract students from all over the world, most hearing the Good News for the first time. Through our Relevancy of Christianity campus wide lecture series we hosted talks on topics such as, “If Evolution Explains Life, Why Do We Need God?” and “Is Jesus The Only Way?” Our weekly large group meetings help us to be a visible witness on the campus through vibrant worship, student testimonies and sharing of God’s Word. A new partnership with Trinity Western University and ACTS Seminary is helping us provide training to our staff, apprentices and students. A team has just returned from Mexico where we built a home for a needy family. UCM alumni are involved in sharing the gospel locally and around the world in countries as far away as Afghanistan, Kuwait, Italy, the UK, and East Asia. We grateful for the partnership of PGCC & Utown who support UCM through prayer and financial support.
