Multimedia

Over the years PGCC has enjoyed the work of many gifted artists in the area of Multimedia.  The Multimedia Ministry has produced various works involving video, graphics for print, and multimedia for projection. For our first experiment with professional video we produced a mini-video documentary (or video testimony) on DVD, which was shown in early 2004. Two of our artists produced the video, while other artists produced the music and sound effects, and post production was done in collaboration with Broadway Church. The multimedia team has also produced major graphic design projects such as a series of Common Ground magazine advertisements, a series of six marketing bookmarks for the University Campus Ministry targeted at UBC students, posters for the annual Reflections of Wonder event, and "See Vancouver Clearly" booklets, banner and posters.

As part of opening our church to the community during the Olympics, the multimedia team installed a TV tuner card into the computer and connected it to an antenna to receive free over-the-air HD broadcast coverage.  This meant that we were able to share the excitement of the men's gold medal hockey game with our neighbors over a community meal. 

For our worship services multimedia is incorporated to outline and enhance points within sermons.
