Social Ministry

God designed us to be in relationship not only with Him, but with each other. It’s for this reason the Social Ministry was born.

One of several new ministries, the Social Ministry aims to bring PGCC members together in order to develop closer relationships and to celebrate as a family of believers.

The need to facilitate this development is especially great in a large church such as PGCC, where those attending the 9:00 am service may not otherwise have the opportunity to meet and interact with 11:11 am service goers.

The monthly community lunch is just one way in which the social ministry is bringing people together, but the social ministry is also expanding to include a variety of different community-building programs with a focus on sports, multiculturalism, and special events. In the early stages of development, these programs will help PGCC realize its vision of welcoming and growing its ethnic, economic and age diversity.
