Community Life Groups

What is a Community Life Group?Community Life Groups (CLGs) are places in which to cultivate our faith while living life together. Most groups consist of about 5-10 people including one or two group leaders, and meet weekly or bi-monthly in homes or coffee shops throughout the Vancouver area. Each group, along with their leaders, decides what their meeting time will look like, however, it often includes sharing a meal or coffee together, fellowship, worship, prayer, bible study and grappling with issues and ideas pertaining to life and faith. Why Community Life Groups? All of us need God and each other. Jesus said "...So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples" (John 13:34-35). While we each come into God's kingdom by personally accepting the Lordship of Christ, it is biblically clear that we live it out in the context of the community of believers, the church. Our shared Community Group experience helps to further transfrom our lives and, in turn, helps bring the transformation of Christ to the braoder communities we live in. Groups have been, and will continue to be, one of the finest ways to grow in love and accomplish the great commission. If you are new to this community or have yet to join a community group, we would like to invite you to get connected with one. Keep an eye out a the connection center in the PGCC main lobby for a new group profile booklet which will be coming this fall. | For more information about or to get established in a Community Group, please contact
